Pakistan created in 1905

rather then just partition Bengal. Could the majority Muslim areas of the sub-continent be crave off as a separate colony in 1905 similar to what happened with Burma and India.

What would be the impact of this.

Would pressure from Indian national congress lead to a reunited British raj or would Pakistan be able to remain separate colony

For how many years are we talking? Long-term neither Pakistan nor India can be kept as colonies, as that would have required Britain essentially becoming like the Third Reich, and the British people would never have tolerated that. If you mean for 30-50 years, then perhaps, but the National Congress would be furious, especially if you partition East Bengal. the outrage would be similar to the OTL partition of Bengal but on a measurably larger scale, and the British would lose one of the few good PR images it had, the notion that it was uniting India as one country.

The latter

Would this make communal tensions and violence worse while the British are in charge as Hindus would be worry about more areas being taken out and Muslims being worry about remerge into India
