More Canals are always good, also we need to see when and were the best places for such nature altering projects are.
If there's one thing I don't want the Soviet Union do is by ruining the Aral Sea.
There was a massive dam and river reversal project planned once:

Yeah, ive heard of it, but in my opinion the project would lead only to great natural disaster thats why i skipped it completely

I was thinking that once the industry has somewhat recovered, we should start developing on monorails as our cities grows, electronics since it'll be very important to us during the Alt. Cold War starts, and of course the soon-to-be space agency once we have rockets.

No monorails

And why not...?
They don't work as well on switching tracks, they cost more are harder to maintain and also more things going wrong mean you can't simply switch them out like regular trains, it's more complicated. I grew up near a city with one and while they are cool looking especially with their old cars from before 1900 there is also a ton more problems that can go wrong with them sadly because I like them overall too. Maybe Saint Petersburg could have one atop of the channels and rivers?

Ah ok but we'll gonna need to find some alternative once traffic becomes a problem.

Asian Revolutionary Plans
lead_article

The overall situation of former Whites in the Soviet Union saw a few of them pardoned in exchange for them working loyal to the new Red government, especially those in former high, influential positions and with important skills that were needed. More minor ones were stricter controlled and their questionable loyalty frequently tested, while those that could outright never be trusted were shipped to prison camps in Siberia. With the Shah in Persia not very liked, the Soviet Union also began to support local People’s Parties and independent People’s Republics, like the Kurdish, which they would also back in Turkey and Iraq, as well as the Southern Azerbaijan (which would most likely connect to Northern Azerbaijan SSR, once they became independent) in the Northwest of Persia and the Turkmenis/ Turkmen in the Northeast (which would most likely connect to Turkmenistan SSR, once they became independent). Meanwhile for his services in the Russian Civil War and Chinese Civil War, Trotsky was given the title of Marshal of the Soviet Union and stationed in the Far East, were he and his Trotskyist supporters felt a World Revolution could be started by means of anti-colonial and anti-imperial revolutions. To do so he would lead Soviet Affairs in the Far East (officially called the People's Commisar of Military/Naval and Political Affairs of Soviet Far Eas), meet with the Chinese and Japan, as well as represents of other Asian Nation States, Countries and groups, like the Viet Cong (Vietnamese Communists), who dreamed about rebelling against France in Indochina to gain independence as an Indochinese People’s Union under Vietnamese leadership.

At the same time a secret agreement with the Chinese regarding the future of Korea was made first before in chase Japan should get hostile against either one of them and secretly ethnic Koreans in China and Russia were used to form a Korean People's Republic government in exile, as well as an anti-Japanese, anti-Colonial Korean Liberation Army (KLA)/ Korean Independence Army (KIA) to present China, the Chinese, Korea and the Koreans as brothers of the Russians, unlike the Japanese who were still ruled by aristocracy, monarchy and ruled others just like the European colonial empires did. Rebuilding of the Soviet Union meanwhile began new, exciting projects to further modernize and industrial the Soviet Union, like the Kuybyshev Hydroelectric Station, the Volga Hydroelectric Station, the Tsimlyansk Hydroelectric Station, the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant, the Volga-Don Canal, the White Sea-Baltic Canal, the Moscow Canal, the new large scientific and industrial complex located in Nizhny Tagil Uralvagonzavod, the large tractor manufacturing enterprise Volgograd Tractor Plant, the Chelyabinsk Tractor Plant for tractor construction, the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works to catapult the Soviet Union into one of the largest steel producers in the world and become less depending on foreign produced steel, the heavy machine production plant Uralmash, alongside the automotive and arms industries plant Omsktransmash, the expansion and modernization of the Kiev Arsenal Factory, the rail freight rolling stock manufacturer located in Kamianske in Ukrainian SSR DniproVahonMash, the Instrument-Building Plant Novosibirsk Tool Plant and the Red Banner Textile Factory. At the same time many welcome the End of the Occupation of the Dominican Republic by the Untied States as a retreat of an Imperialistic Power from at least parts of the Caribbean.

With the USA out of the Dominican Republic (and the occupation of Haiti still going on) anti American sentiment is high in the Hispaniola, could we potentially use that as a way to foster pro communist elements not only in the islands but in the Caribbean in general? I'm sure Cubans aren't exactly crazy for what the Americans are doing in their country either...

Also, about comrade Stalin, given his knack for persuasion, his ruthlessness and good ability of organization and keeping those underneath him in line, could we have him as head of the NKVD? It would be very useful having someone like him who could not only be useful in sending spies throughout the world but also to counter any potential infiltrators and spies.

It may be helpful for us but we should also have someone keep an eye on him as well if/when he starts being paranoid.

Also we should fully support anti-American sentiment by starting out as propaganda and peaceful rallies but just like Iran, since the US loves to support dictators... we'll do the same thing but in a limited amount though since it's across the world and we don't want alienate too early.

Stalin could clearly help out there, but I would only make him a regional head of operations, or the NKVD, as he can use that to build furhter connections and put his Stalinists in position of power were we don't want them.

Anti-American sentiment at the moment can especially be exploited in the Caribbean and Central America were the Americans still occupy a few nation states and were locals want them mostly gone, as they even have helped despote some legitime governments for their own dictators in the Banana Wars, clearly we can use that to our advantage and oppose them with a few socialist and communist backed movement sof our own there. Comrades, da?

Agreed, while also weakening America's "Monroe Doctrine" so not just us to expand our influence but those from both Europe and Asia but we could also have the socialists and communists with anti war sentiment since America's socialists didn't want to be part the first world war.
