Ottoman-Soivet Relations

I just got a crazy idea in my head, that if during WW1 Russia collapsed into the USSR, but the Ottoman Empire still survived. I am not quite sure how this would come about; maybe less British aid to the Arab tribes? Either way, how would the two states react to each other. I'm sure the Ottomans would try and help the whites win, but after being hurt badly in WW1, I'm not so sure how they could help. So all it would accomplish is earning the hatred of the Reds, who would win. Could this lead to an eventual Soviet-Ottoman war over the Dardanelles straits?

Edit: Damn! Misspelled Soviet!

How unscathed is this Ottoman empire, do they still hold Palestine and Iraq, do they still have a navy proped up by Germany, I presume its army stayed in tact in order to hold the country together. It really also depends on how the wider war went (i.e CP victory)

Actually from 1917 - 1922 otl, The USSR and OE did coexist. If remember correctly they clashed not over the Dardenelles, but the Caucasus and Central Asia (Enver Pasha's pan-Turkic scheme), along with the White army, German freikorps, Cossacks, Armenians, Georgians, British agents and small teams, etc thrown in the choatic mix. I believe the Soviets were also the first to make peace with Ataturk went he came to power the following year.
