A challenge based on a discussion in FH.
Make a detailed map of 2007 showing, not the borders according to law, but the actual de facto situation - including, e.g. all territory held by different rebel groups in Africa etc. as separate 'states'.
In other words, a map of now that is made in the same way as our OTL maps, with rebellions and puppet states etc. marked out regardless of the de jure borders.
