Can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, but I'd absolutely love to see the Otto Prohaska novels as a miniseries (one season per book ought to be enough).

Not familer with those books. Who was the Author?
John Biggins, http://www.johnbigginsfiction.com/prohaska
I'd like to see The Conrad Stargard series by Leo Frankowski made into a TV show (possibly by HBO)
Others on my 'list of wants' are:
1. Time Wars by Simon Hawke
2. The Elijah Bailey series by Isaac Asimov
3. Fafarhd and the Grey Mouser by Fritz Leiber
4. West of Eden series by Harry Harrison
5. Stainless Steel Rat series, also by Harry Harrison
6. Dragon Riders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey
7. Humanx Commonwealth series by Alan Dean Foster
8. The Draka Series by S. M. Stirling
9. The Eternal Champion series by Michael Moorcock
10. Aztec Century by Christopher Evans
Time War would be fun.
The BBC did a hour movie of Caves of Steel and a one hour episode of Naked Sun as part of Out of the Unknown in the 1960's. Both are now lost due to the BBC deciding to delete show from the Archive in the 1970's.
I think that it would be easy to mess up the Leiber stories. Something about his writing does not seem to be easy to translate to another format like Film or Television. Would need perfect casting and good scripts to bring them to life.
West of Eden is a possibility. The Yilsne would be expensive to create.
Stainless Steel Rats have been adapted into Comic in Britain. I keep waiting for the Brits to adapt the Novels, since it seem more popular over there.
After the First Two of Pern novels I was tired of the series. It was consider doing a Xena like series of Pern in the late 1990.
I like Foster Commonwealth books. But some reason, never want to see a adaption.
Draka is my least favorite Sterling Books.
Would love to see Lord of Creation series combined with Allen Steel Tranquility Alternative. Von Braun space program with a Mars and Venus that support Life.
Which Eternal Champions? Elric might work if you get rid of the Mutliverse stuff and stick with the early books.
.
Elric is much more popular than Hawkmoon. BTW the multiverse stuff would allow very different storiesthe first ones I read in that series was the Runestaff ones with Dorian Hawkmoon, so those are the ones I had in mind.
