Other potential brides for Louis XVI?

This is something I've been trying to research, but honestly, European royal families confuse the heck out of me.

Let's say that for one reason or another, the French family doesn't wish to get close to Austria, and so doesn't marry Louis to Marie Antoinette. Where would Louis's potential bride come from then?

How about a Prussian Princess? At the time of Frederick II, Prussia was very Francophile. Maybe an alliance could be arranged by a marriage? Of course, that would depend on the relationship between King Frederick William II and Louis XV (as he is the one who arranged Louis XVI's marriage).

Wilhelmine of Prussia, King Frederic William II's eldest daughter, is still available : OTL, she only married William I of the Netherlands in 1791. As a plus, she's the same age as Louis XVI as they were both born in 1774.

At this time, there are pretty slim pickings as far as Roman Catholic princesses of a suitable age go...

Duchess Maria Amalia of Saxony (b. 1757), sister of Elector Friedrich August III, and the King's first cousin.

Princess Maria Giuseppina of Sardinia (b. 1753), daughter of King Vittorio Amedeo, who later married the future King Louis XVIII.

Or, perhaps he could wed Maria Beatrice d'Este, heiress to the Duchy of Modena, and expand French influence in Italy?
