So what if some kind of unity brotherhood existed in the early Medival age upward between National Orthodox churches? So my idea is that basically the Rus after converting, the Byzantines and the Abyssinians /Ethiopians act as three great pillars of Orthodoxy with others also aware. So even Nubian Christian kingdoms aswell as other Slavic and other emerging Orthodox churches. So what if these see themselves despite geographical distances and difficulties as core defenders of the, truth'? Would be fascinating to have relations between Ethiopia and Easter Roman Empire and the Kievan Rus aswell. Interesting would be more immigration, trade, military cooperation, Dynastic marriage, etc. Maybe in this scenario Orthodoxy also claims some of Western Slavic people instead of the Catholics. One problem with such is a fact is the success of Arab conquest that might made it very difficult to maintain relations between ERE and Abyssiania but maybe there are some compromise for such an scenario.
