Operation: Sealion

But not really.

Actually I was curious about something along the lines of Germany never invades the Soviet Union.

Basically the POD is before Barbarossa.

Could Germany concentrate on North Africa and push the Allies out?

Keep the RAF out of the skies in a defensive posture since they were beaten back in the Battle of Britain?

Would Germany find a way to 'integrate' Spain into the Greater German Reich?

Would the Soviet Union attack Germany at some point?

I think the biggest question is:
would Germany be able to hold the Western allies off until a peace agreement with no 2nd front opened?

Could Germany concentrate on North Africa and push the Allies out?
They could certainly try... but to be honest, it's much easier said than done. The logistic situation (limited port capacity; no railways meaning all supplies had to go by truck) alone will make it difficult to support much more than OTLs commitment without substantial development and delays. Then of cause, remember that the poms' are going to react to the Germans building up bases, ports, road and railways in Libya... without lend-lease going to the sovs, that a couple of thousand more infatry tanks and Hurricane to send to the Middle East and Far East.
Would Germany find a way to 'integrate' Spain into the Greater German Reich?
You mean to bring Spain into the war on the Axis side in order to close the Med to the poms (as Spain was already economically heavily linke dot the axis)? Possible but difficult... in OTL even with France crushed and Britain apparently on the ropes Franco made sure to make territorial demands Hitler was simply unable to grant, so it'd take quite a change to get him into the war.
Would the Soviet Union attack Germany at some point?
Possibly... Soviet rearmourment was running to bring the army back up to strength after the purges by late 1942 through 43... and it's certianly possible to see Stalin stab Hitler in the back.

The Germans could focus on a Mediterranean campaign. Invading Gibraltar, Malta and sending a much larger Afrika Korps to throw the English out of Egypt (and possibly continue to the Middle East and create a possible second front to Russia + oil reserves).

An attack on Gibraltar would require Spain entering the war and it would become a German ally.

With the Royal Navy out of the Mediterranean, I would not see any possibility of Britain throwing the German-Italians out of North Africa -without American help, that is.

Bah my guaranteed response plan didn't work....

I wasn't meaning to dump on your thread :p

the board has discussed this POD considerably, and both myself and Onkel Willie have time lines on the subject...a read of my TL Manstein in Africa (which has about 100 chapters complete) should answer your questions :D
