Operation Resurrection carried out, France under military rule in 1958?

In May of 1958 an army junta seized control of Algiers and then Corsica. The coupsters threatened to paratroop into Paris and the remove the French government unless Charles de Gaulle was returned to power. De Gaulle was appointed Prime Minister and the rest is history.

But what if a lone nut assassinates de Gaulle and the Junta calls foul play? If Operation Resurrection is launched, does it succeed? If yes, does France get a military government? How long does it last? If the Junta fails and its members are imprisoned, what does the French government do next? Do they reform the French government like de Gaulle did IOTL or does the ineffectual Fourth Republic keep going? How long does the Fourth Republic last ITTL?

I have a feeling the junta might create a udi situation in Algeria.
Assuming they failed there would probably be at attempt to defuse power.
I am not sure if it would take the same form as the fifth republic.
