On the language of Esperanto

I don't see English retaining it's dominance myself, the strength of a language tends to coincide with the strength of the culture that speaks it. As has been seen with Latin and Greek, in this case it's the U.S.A and English. In my opinion the world will eventually have three languages of roughly equal dominance, Spanish, English and Mandarin Chinese, such a situation my make the teaching of a universal language like Esperanto significantly more beneficial.

As for the internet, the internet is fluid and ever changing. What is popular today could be dead tomorrow.
