What would be the name and details of a (non-filibustered,) state that exists in Northern Mexico.
EDIT: I mean Northern Mexico after the Mexican-American War.

Wasn't Sonora a filibuster state?
Sonora ALSO was a filibuster state (together with Lower California under Walker in 1854), but also a regular Mexican region (part of Occidente together with Sinaloa) prior to that (and since 1830 its own state).
la República del Norte, like Wolfpaw suggested.Okay, thanks. But could there be a Name for all three that Zuvarq mentioned?
la República del Norte, like Wolfpaw suggested.
The whole region--NW and NE--is and was historically referred to as "El Norte," and if it was only the northeastern provinces, they'd probably go with "la República del Río Bravo."Or Noroeste? Since all three compose the region of Northwest Mexico.

Gah, misread!It's Noroeste, North-West
