NOOBWI: Epirus Victorious!

So what if Pyrrhus managed to smack down the Romans? Once the Epirot Empire conquers the Mediterranean would they do better against the Persians and Germans invading from Germany?? Could it survive until the modern day and fight in the 20th century wars like WWI and Vietnam? Whose side would it be on?

Discuss! :)

Well if you had a Greek superpower then I bet they'd be able to defeat the Germans and Italians and probably liberate the Balkans- since the Greeks had democracy I think they'd be likely support the Allies and NATO, so this would mean the Soviet Union would be much weaker, and not have as many of its Eastern European vassals- though they'd probably have Poland. (It's common in scenarios like this to give Finland to the Soviets as a sympathy prize, but that seems unnecessary)

I think you mean Parisians, who were French and descended from the Franks. At any rate, they would have held them off until the 19th Century, after Napoleon's death, when they lost their military edge. Oh, they'd be on the American side (though the "special relationship" would be tested sorely during George W. Bush's presidency).

But the US would still break free in 1977 when they pour hot tea over George Washington and force Billy the Kit to shoot a apple from the head of Abraham Lincoln. Then the Greeks cant force them to ´have slaves.

Bah, the Epirusian Empire wouldn't last against the uprisings of the Croatians and the Bulgarians. Damn Balkans ruin everything.
