No Yoko

WI Yoko Ono's family never moved to the United States after WWII? Would the The Beatles stay together now?

No! Brian Epstein's death had more to do with the Beatles break up than Yoko Ono! If Yoko would have never met Lennon, the Beatles might have lasted a few more years, maybe til 1976 at the longest. If Epstein would have lived they still wouldnt make it til the 1980s, but they might have had less of a horrible break up. Perhaps a few Lennon-McCartney reunions.

According to a documentary I saw on The History Channel, one of the reasons that they broke-up was that there was a nasty riot at one of their last concerts.

Their last concert was in San Francisco in 1966, they didnt split until 1970. So thats not accurate. Their last live performance was the roof top performance in London, and there was no riot, but the police did break it up, but the bad blood was already there, and the police breakup had made the quartet laugh and was considered fun.

I was all really over when they git rid of Pete Best!

OK I am kidding!

But I guess without Yoko John Lenon would have had himself killed during the late 60s early 70s

In defence of Yoko...

I feel that Yoko was more of a stabilizing factor in Lennon's life - past his "Lost Weekend" antics with May Pang - he was then able to move past his anger torwards Paul and was able to focus on working on material that led to "Milk & Honey" and "Double Fantasy". Without Yoko? Lennon would have either burned himself out into irrelevance or OD'ed.

The Beatles were moving in different creative directions. Note the success had by all (particularly George and Paul) on their own.
