No world wars, what happens to the technology that spun out of them?

apart from the war casualties, very likely no spanish flu. so thats another 70-140M people.

We might get famines earlier and perhaps then more environmental damage from increased farming like what happend in the dust bowl. Also maybe not without the food trade being disrupted so badly by WW1 that boosted food prices so high and caused things like over farming in the Midwest.

Would European birthrates drop so early or so quickly without the world wars?

don't think so. But there would be going a lot more europeans to the colonies.
So a result would probably be a few more white majority colonies.
Metropolitan france (algeria etc) very likely would become french majority, and Libya very likely would develop into the italian counterpart of that.

Who is going to run the equipment in the TV stations then .
Well in Britain it would be the BBC who OTL started transmitting in 1932.

Aeronautics would be behind without the war spending driving some research forward, but that might be balanced by generation of young engineers and scientists not being killed in WW1 and 2 offering earlier insights.
That, and the Sikorsky S-22s would be flying in 1914, which could easily lead to an early 'Airliner War', as well as racing competitions, not to mention that there are simply to be no big wars, not no military rivalry.

Without the World Wars there would not have been the subconscious mindset to repopulate the countries so no postwar baby booms and since birth rates and prosperity are intertwined reciprocally and Europe would have been more prosperous without the world wars I think birth rates would have dropped even earlier, especially if contraceptives would have been introduced ahead of OTL.
