No World War I, What About Lenin?

I would be interested in reading a timeline without a world war. I've yet to see one. As far as I can tell, most people have trouble conceiving of a world without such a cataclysmic conflict, which is sad, as a well-written no-WWI TL would be fascinating. Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing what you create.

I agree what Russian revolution is going to happen anyway even without WWI. The tsarist regime was thoroughly discredited even without military setbacks. In this case, Lenin is going to return to Russia, but because IOTL he won a support on the wave of the anti-war sentiments, in alternative timeline he and his party are not going to become strong. Most likely, he will ally with Mensheviks eventually, but they will lost the election to Socialist Revolutionary Party. The Russia is going to become a welfare state like post-WWII UK, but without excesses of Communism.
