No world war 2 could Poland absorb the eastern slavs

Of course it depends on what lengths the Poles would go to the force this assimilation campaign on their eastern citizens, which is obviously limited since Russia could use any sort of unrest as an excuse to intervene and push the border to the Curzon line while Germany, regardless of its government, would almost certainly do everything it could to not help Poles in that event. Poland's chief strength in its endeavor is that the peoples it is trying to assimilate are going to be living in poor conditions and any sort of modernization and development will help soften restive nationalism as it did in Austria-Hungary. Most people would probably speak and read Polish pretty fluently after a few generations, though I doubt it would replace Belarusian and Ukrainian for everyday use (and why would it?), much as many people learned Russian in the Soviet Union without losing their native languages. Polish is not exactly mutually intelligible with these languages but from what I have heard, it is still close enough to be reasonably learnable to many people if taught in school. If Eastern Orthodox citizens were not given equal treatment, integration, let alone assimilation becomes much more difficult. I have a feeling that this would become a very serious matter.
