While I've seen multiple threads on the Washington Naval Treaty of '22 leading to increased construction among the signatories, I've not seen as much on the sale prospects of the older battleships, that was forbidden under the treaty.

In a world where the WNT isn't signed and the nations need to pay for their continued larger battlewagons, an obvious source of funding seems to be to sell the older ones that went to the scrapyards OTL.

Any thoughts on who might acquire them? Would the South American naval arms race continue with secondhand British and American early dreadnoughts? Does the Netherlands procure the battleships they'd considered to defend against Japanese aggression? Does Poland try to fit out a battleship they probably don't have nearly the need for?
