No Treaty of Leake

In August 1318, King Edward II of England agreed to the Treaty of Leake, which bound him to observe the ordinances under a council of seventeen headed by the Earl of Pembroke.
What if there was no Treaty of Leake?

The Treaty of Leake was an agreement between the "Middle Party", including courtier adherents of Edward II of England, and the King's cousin, Thomas, Earl of Lancaster and his followers.
The treaty was meant to reconcile Edward and his favorites with Thomas, Earl of Lancaster and other baronial opponents.
