No Suez Crisis

Nasser still nationalizes the Suez Canal but the British and the French decides against intervening.

Do we see an Israel-Egypt war break out earlier than OTLs next round? Is the Hungarian revolt at all effected by the absence of the Suez distraction? (I'd say no: it's not like the US was going to risk WWIII by giving the revolt any support). Without the humiliation of Suez, do the British (and the French) persist in the delusion of still being a Great Power a bit longer? What other sort of silliness might they get up to without Suez?

One plausible POD could be that Labour under Clement Attlee wins the 1955 general election. I doubt that Attlee would tag along with the French and intervene. This probably means that the French give up too, which could damage Anglo-French relations.
