On 8 February 1942, while flying away from the conclusion of a meeting with Hitler at the Wolfsschanze ("Wolf's Lair") at Rastenburg, Fritz Todt's aircraft exploded and crashed. He was succeeded as Reichsminister by Albert Speer, who had narrowly missed being on the same aircraft.

So what if Speer was on that Aircraft and died along with the guy he has destined to replace. Would someone else make the needed economic reforms or would the War end sooner with less Allied casualties.
