No Soviet arms to Israel, no Israel?

The Soviet Union supplied the bulk of the weaponry that Israel used to fight the 1948 Arab–Israeli war. Israeli Prime Minister Ben-Gurion went so far as to say that Soviet weapons deal “saved the country... without it, I very much doubt we could have survived the first month”.

What if Stalin decided not to arm Israel, Stalin soured toward Israel later IOTL so it's not all that farfetched. Does the Israeli war effort collapse as per Ben-Gurion's predictions? What happens to the former British Palestine? Is there a UN style partition, no Israel at all, etc. etc.

The majority of weapons were from Czechoslovakia including Avia S-199 fighters and Spitfires.

Well, Czechoslavakians also sell weapons for Syrian Arabs.
The shipment was interdicted by Jewish Haganah though.

I.m.h.o., Israel was possible even with weapons left from British only. Of course, would be much more bloodshed and sieges of Jewish communities compared to OTL. OTL history showed the Arabs inability to rapidly storm even small citadels defended by few Jewish militia with light weapons.

Czechoslovakia started to sell to Syrians only later. After war for Israeli independence was over and interests of powers shifted.
