No Seljuk Turkish Invasion?

With no Seljuk Turkish Invasion what would happen to the Middle East?

What would happen to the Eastern Roman Empire? Would we see a continued Roman resurgence?

At the very least, the Byzantines would be a bit stabler (without a Manzikert) and could focus their attentions on other frontiers and even be given the space to address structural issues longstanding in need to be addressed. Whether they are or not is another question. Winning at Manzikert might have the same practical effects as no Seljuk invasion.

On the other hand, there are always more Turks...and eventually perhaps, Mongols.

As for the rest of the Middle East-- surviving Ghaznavids on the Iranian Plateau, less Persian culture carried west into Iraq, survival of some minor polities in the region, perhaps no rise of the Assassins.
