No Russian Poland

What if following the Napoleonic Wars, Congress Poland's territory had been divided between Austria and Prussia along the lines of the third partition?

Russian Empire would have much less troubles with the Polish-populated governorships than it had with the Congressional Poland.

Saxony is untouched (Saxon lands given to Prussia after Congress of Vienna were recompensate for Prussian part of Congress Poland). Rhineland is is more isolated from Prussian corelands, and with bigger Saxony, it is more problematic for Prussia to dominate tiny Central German states, dividing Rhineland from rest of Prussia.

There is on a polish board a timeline with Prussia getting all austrian and preserving their part, but it didn't get lands in Germany. http://www.historycy.org/index.php?showtopic=66463&st=30
Outcome is that after the period of failed germanization, and as a result of the Spring of Nations, Berlin had to do similar settlement as OTL Austria with Hungary in 1867. It is a good timeline. At this board are some quality timelines, which typically are colaborative, and people there go very deap into details, and how to make things plausible. In that topic was an interesting discussion how big might be a budget of the bigger prussian state in 1830s.
