No revolution, the american colonies remain with GB, and the affects thereof.

Hi, technically I'm a member of this forum but I never get on and all I do is creep and read some of the interesting things that are posted. This forum has actually helped me a lot in regards to some of my history classes and what not. So anyway I was wondering if you guys could plausible describe to me a way that the american colonies would remain with britain and what the consequences of that would be, it's for a paper I have to write in one of my classes.

I always thought that Pitt the Elder's illness ruined any chance of reconciliation. He was the great statesman of his day and pro-American, but he took virtually no action as the crisis worsened.
