No New France

There are many threads about more succesful French colonization of North America. But what about opposite scenario-no French presence north of Carribean? Maybe France conquers parts of Brazil ITTL , thus is more interested in South America and ignores Canada completly (or simply France is weaker/poorer). So beside England only Dutch and Swedes estabilished (short lived, like IOTL) colonies on N. America's eastern coast.
I guess English colonization goes smoother-not only French are absent-their OTL Native allies are also weakened without French support.
But conflict of interest between Colonies and Metropoly would propably arise earlier, Britain would want profits for metropoly from taxes and trade and colonists don't need British protection against France. Benefits from self-government should be obvious for settlers.
So earlier USA?

English colonization of St. Lawrence river valley likely means no Hudson Bay Company, altough France could try to estabilish its own company there to break English monopoly in fur trade. Also lack of French colonization of Louisiana would affect Haiti-more food crops, less cash crops, so colony would be less profitable than in OTL. Without need to fight French Britain could push stronger pressure to the South, conquering Florida (and maybe Cuba) earlier than IOTL.

In OTL France was mostly interested in Canada for the fur trade, and colonization of New France was more or less a byproduct of the trade, meant to secure trading posts and trade lines. The trade fur relied entirely on strong alliances with the First Nations that would supply the beaver furs and help protect said trade lines. If France failed to forge said alliances (due to a less competent or non-existent Samuel de Champlain, for instance) there would probably be no French colonization of North America.

I'm not sure that this would cause the United States to be created earlier though. In OTL the causes of the Revolutionary war were linked to the aftermath of the Seven Years' War and the need to finance for the defence of the Thirteen colonies, which would be less of an issue in TTL.

There probably wouldn't be a Canada either. Or maybe no US, with a continent-wide "Canada" as there's no Quebec Act, which was one of the reasons for the revolution.
