No Nazi Soviet pact

What would have happened if either the USSR had refused Hitler's offer or he had not made it?

I am sure that the Nazis could have successfully defeated Poland, however it would have cost rather more.

I imagine that Stalin might have decided to sell stuff to the evil one, but only if it were proffitable.

Woud the Nazi economy survived to 1941 ?

Basically without an alliance with the Soviets or any of the raw materials he received from them, Germany doesn't have any chance of success against the big 3 powers. That's why his terms were so generous to Stalin.

The TL in my Sig deals with a similar scenario. ;)

Unlikely
Without all that Soviet raw materials, the blockade bites hard.
Germany is short of munitions and equipment when they attack France, and they are also short of men (they'll have to leave more in Poland as they certainly cant trust Russia)
There would be more pressure to start the French campaign asap, as the situation isnt going to get any better with time, which given the ferocious winter of 1939-40 will be interesting...
