No Mongol Empire: What happens to the Tanguts?

In a scenario where Genghis Khan (or more accurately, Temujin Borjigin) was either stillborn or died before he could unite the Mongols, what happens to the Tanguts/Xi Xia? Historically, the Tanguts were among the first people the Mongols invaded and when they tried to break free from the Mongols, the Mongols punished them by razing Xi Xia to the ground and destroying most traces of the Tanguts, so, what happens to them in a "No Mongol Empire" scenario?

I have a Wank - Western Xia thread, but I would say that the Western Xia would continue with their current foreign policy of attacking their neighbors. The Uighur Khanates, Tibet, and Jurchen Jin have seen the brunt of the Tangut army. If you were to Wank them - the first one on the hit-list would be the Jurchens - an alliance with the Southern Song would be in the works, where in the Jurchens would be replaced as the rulers of Northern China.

If I were to guess - it would only be able to conquer the Uighur Khanates, Tibet, and Jurchen Jin before it ran out of steam. It would make a massive Northern Empire that would dominate northern Asian politics for at last maybe 400 years before collapsing into the same cycle of dynastic tradition as China.
