Laughably easy to achieve as his only accomplishment of the slightest import was the first non-stop flight over the Atlantic and he took such risks only because barely 48 hours after he took off Admiral Byrd, the polar explorer, started the trip in a plane large enough to carry supplies, air mail and three other men for the trip.
So if Lindbergh disappears over the Atlantic and Byrd takes his place, what effects might this have on history?
