No Kievan Ruthenia

Poland has an easy path of expansion.

Lithuania may form earlier or later depending on your personal opinion on early Lithuanian statehood.

Rus' stays as even more of a backwater.

If the Mongols still arrive, they have a speedbump before Central Europe.

Are we including them not adopting Christianity, too, or does that still happen, just without unification?

I do not know. Lithuania may be formed at the same time as the OTL, as a result of the threat posed by the Teutonic Knights. I see more places in the east under potential Lithuanian expansion.
As a result of the absence of Kievan Rus, the state of Kryviches may be preserved. Perhaps the Chazar Khaganate is not destroyed (until the arrival of the Mongols).

Probably the way to implement Christianity in East Slavic areas can lead through Poland.
