No Glorious Revolution of 1688

So what if William of Orange does not cross over to Britain, what if the Stuart kings continue? How does the history of Britain work out.

I guess religion would be changed, but I don't think the Stuarts were so intent on Catholicizing britain as much as maintaining the High Anglican church. Perhaps in time the Anglican church would rejoin with Rome?

Would Parliamentarianism die out and would that mean a less free Britain? Or would Freedom of Religion kind of balance out the lack of a powerful parliament.

Would there be another public uprising similar to Cromwell? Could a French Revolution occur in Britain?

You might well see an actual second Civil War, at that point, though it'd be heavily lopsided in England - the reason William and the Dutch army were able to just walk in historically was because they were invited and the population supported them. An England vs Scotland war wouldn't be out of the question, in that case.
