No Disney, Nintendo, or Apple?

Disney, Nintendo, and Apple are some of the most influential companies on the planet, having changed the worlds of media, entertainment, and popular culture in so many ways that it’s hard to imagine a word without any of them, from animation, to video games, to technology. But what if these three companies were never founded? What if Fusajiro Yamauchi, Walt Disney, and Steve Jobs were either neither born, died before they could help found their respective companies, or simply went down different paths in their lives? How different would culture and the World be without Nintendo, Disney, or Apple?

Presumably an assortment of other companies would just fill the void. There was sufficient demand for what they had to offer and they were simply the ones to fill it.
