No Casimir the Just

Casimir the Just, the youngest son of Bolesław III of Poland was born in 1138, as a posthumous child. But what if he was stillborn? The deposition of Władysław II of Poland would likely remain as in OTL, because Casimir was too young to have serious influence over affairs at that time. But things after the death of Bolesław IV, the second youngest surviving son of Bolesław III would be different. Without Casimir, Odon of Poznań (eldest surviving son of Mieszko III, third son of Bolesław III) could become a prince of Sandomierz after death of his another uncle, Henry. With Odon being a prince of Sandomierz, ten silnik between him and his father would be much lesser and instead of joining the rebels, ITTL he would most probably fight them to prove that he is the most worthy heir of his father. The result could be the quick defeat of a rebels and further introduction of centralist policies of Mieszko III. Perhaps Mieszko could even crown himself the king of Poland. @Jan Olbracht

Without Casimir opposition against centralising policy of Mieszko would find some leader, who would challenge him. Perhaps Duke of Silesia.
Still, less divided Poland could be reunited easier and faster, without such territorial losses.

But would be such leader able to act ad fast as Casimir OTL? I doubt. Sandomierz is very close to Kraków so loyal Prince of Sandomierz could destroy rebellion immediately.

Mieszko needs coronation to prevent his achievements to be wasted. There could be many dukes, but only one king in Poland.
Church would certainly not like him, it is well before Church hierarchy started to support unification efforts.

But Pope could be bribed, son of Mieszko (Władysław Laskonogi) and Mieszko Platonogi managed to win Innocents III's sympathy against Polish clergy.
