No Borki disaster

Without the derailing of the Tsar's train at Borki in 1888, we never get Alexander III supposedly holding the collapsed roof up long enough for his family to escape, the strain of which was believed to eventually contribute to his kidney problems. What comes of Alexander III hanging on for another five or six years?

Perhaps Nicholas is given a listen-in on matters of state, allowing him to be somewhat more competent when he eventually takes over the throne?

Without the Borki disaster, Sergei Witte doesn't rise to power (he might even be demoted or reassigned, since Tsar Alexander was getting annoyed by his constant warnings about safety)
