No black death

So, the black death spread across Europe in 1300. If i've studied well, the main reason this happened was the war for Caffa in Crimea between a mongol khan and the Genoese. The mongols used corpses on catapults as chemical weapons but still lost the battle while the Ligurian survivors infected traveled across the Mediterranean to Genoa/Marseilles and then the disease outbreak happened.
POD: WI if the mongols don't start the bacterial war or similar event and thus avoiding to infect the city population? Will the disease reach Europe anyway later or it's butterflied away? ( in OTL the Poland region almost didn't experience the black death)
