If Baltimore had remained in the National League after 1899, would John McGraw have stayed in Baltimore as their manager until his retirement in 1932? Without McGraw in New York would it have been possible for Colonel Ruppert and Colonel Huston to buy the Giants in 1915? And assuming that Baltimore native Babe Ruth had begun his major league career with the Orioles, and assuming McGraw had been smart enough to convert him into an outfielder, would the presence of the Federal League in Baltimore have eventually have forced the Orioles to sell Ruth to the Giants? This seems likely based on Screvier20's alternative history postseason results from the 1920s and early 30s.

The development of American motorsports would different with here begin no NASCAR. NASCAR would be replace by the National Championship Stock Car Series(NCSSC). Because Bill France would never reorganize the NCSSC into NASCAR im 1948. In OTL Bill France approached the American Automobile Association(AAA), but AAA declined support in thisvc TL AAA would give there support to the NCSSC.

I plan to turn this into a oof shoot of this TL.

Just wondering how the divisional alignments look after the expansion. Here's how the NL looks after expansion, as near as I can tell:

NL East (7): Baltimore, Boston, Brooklyn, Buffalo, New York, Philadelphia, Washington
NL West (9): Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Pittsburgh, St. Louis

With two western teams added to the NL, wouldn't one team in the West Division have to move to the East? Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Detroit are the farthest east teams in the West. You indicate that Pittsburgh and Cleveland are still in the West, so did one of the other two jump to the East?

Also, will there be a realignment soon? With 8 teams in each division, I would imagine that there might be some impetus for a third division to be created, perhaps if and when the 17th and 18th expansion teams are added.

======

As for the PCL, here's how the teams stack up after expansion:

PCL North (5): Oakland, Portland, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Tacoma
PCL South (7): Long Beach, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Antonio, San Diego, San Francisco

Since two southern teams were added, would a northern team in the South Division, like San Francisco or Sacramento, have been pushed into the North Division?
