No accidental bomb attack on london

I have a question:
Would the British have still pursued a bombing campaign against German industry without the Blitz? If yes then would the Germans eventually respond and start bombing British cities anyway?

What I'm asking is would a German Blitz against British cities be inevitable?

I think they would but Germany would not be nearly as bad since they would be short on fuel and have less plane's.

OP: It has huge implications. The Blitz was not a forgone conclusion, it was a d*** measuring contest. Pre-empt the bombing of London, you pre-empt retaliatory strikes against Berlin. Pre-empt Berlin, you pre-empt the blitz. Pre-empt the Blitz, you probably lead to a longer BoB. Germany never even thinks of attacking Russia, as they are licking profound wounds. <snip>.

Hitler was always going after Russia, they were Communists and had to be stopped and pushed back for more living space.....Britain be damned, Hitler was always going after Russia. They weren't properly supplied when they went after Russia OTL (okay, they overstayed). It might delay the attack on the Soviets, but it was Hitler's wet dream to defeat Russia.

I don't buy this. When you see Goebbel's journal you realize how much the Nazis made it up as they went along:
