No 2nd Battle of the Piave River - Austro-Hungarian victory at Vittorio Veneto?

If Italy doesn't get at least Trento and Trieste, there's a revolution in 1919, 1920 tops, and a further invasion of Austria. The historical Vittoria Mutilata was enough to give the country to Fascism in 1922; if Italy walks away from WW1 with the historical million casualties and nothing for it despite being on the winning side, the government that signs the treaty is going to last as long as a possum on the highway.

I always found it nonsense, that AH couldn't survive. The Empire disintegrated due to foreign pressure, not internal. If the army remains, so does the Empire!

The Empire disintegrated for the loss of the war, the destruction of the credibility of the enstablisment and the fact that by 1918 it was in all but name an appendix of the German Empire; even if the army remains, it's already too late, not only even without 2nd Piave the K.u.K. it's just a mere pathetic shadow of itself but the idea of the Hapsurbg Empire succeeding in survive the post-war political and social pressure that had characterizated the immediate postwar in OTL it's widly optimistic

If the A-H army stays intact after the armistice there is no Czeckoslovakian, Yugoslav etc independence, maybe not even an Hungarian. US entrance into the war has no influence on that. US entry into WWI anyway didn't influence very much, the war was won by British and French when they (by themselves) stopped the German Spring Offensive in March-April 1918. But the US entrance into the war made it possible for not at least the French to demand humiliating conditions for an armistice and thus started WWII.
