New TL Take Two

So I've chosen to end the Hillary Clinton TL due to what I see is a fair amount of debate over Hillary rather than over the merit of the TL itself. I know that it's not a big deal, but I don't want to have to deal with a bunch of people with some angry opinions. Therefore I ask you, reader, what you would like me to write. I really am open to a lot of topics, and I do plan on writing it in the style of RogueBeaver, a writer who I model myself after.

So yeah, preferably America 1960-on. I could do something from an earlier time, though I will most likely go off a "Event Date:, Event:" format. That also goes for any topic I'm not totally comfortable with.

Besides US politics, what other country's politics are you familiar with, cuz I've got some ideas for a Soviet or PRC TL.

RogueBeaver's an inspiration to me as well (props to you, Rogue! :D). Anyway, here are some ideas of mine:

-How about a no Chappaquiddick TL? Perhaps an EMK Presidency in '72 if you have enough butterflies. Maybe Wallace runs a third party candidacy in '72, and Watergate breaks out pretty early. With the unpopularity of Watergate and Wallace acting as a spoiler, EMK is able to defeat Nixon and ascend the Presidency. That being said, EMK would find the stress of being in the White House while being the recently minted patriarch of the Kennedys a daunting task.

-How about you redo some of your Atlas TLs? Right before you left the Atlas you started a 2nd Term of Gerald Ford timeline. Maybe you could redo it for AH.com. You could also redo your excellent Henry Wallace TL; I liked that one a lot. Or you could redo Reagan The Democrat.

-I don't believe anyone's done an HHH in '68 TL. That could be very interesting, though I'd imagine Reagan would crush HHH in '72.

-How about a TL where Operation Eagle Claw doesn't fail and Carter narrowly wins re-election in '80?

-This idea is very similar to Wolfpaw's excellent POTUS Joe McCarthy TL, but maybe Robert Taft wins the GOP nod in '52 with Douglas MacArthur as his running mate, defeating Stevenson in the GE. Taft dies around the same time as OTL, and Douglas MacArthur is POTUS .

-How about a biographical TL revolving around a conservative Hillary Rodham and her ascendancy to the presidency? Or you could do The Life And Times of Christine O'Donnell: A Progressive Hero. ;)

-This isn't political, but I've always wanted to see a John Lennon Lives TL. :D

Thanks for the suggestions Han! I was thinking about redoing my Henry Wallace timeline because nothing like it has been done here. I also might possibly do a Gerald Ford in 1976 timeline.

?How about a President Forbes TL?
He compromises and adds a Housing Exception, and a 3 step* Tax rates -- and sails to victory.

*Up to 250 thousand =X% 250 ~ 500 thous =2X% over 500 thous =4X%

Well, you could always do a Nixon wins in 1960, or a Kenedy doesn't get Shot. There's already a Barry Goldwater Timeline. Or Bush Sr. wins in 92.
