Kay y'all, no, I'm not quitting my current timeline on this forum "The Rise of Progressivism", and I'm not quitting the two timelines I'm working on elsewhere, but my overactive mind is always looking at new possibilities. These are four I consider possible projects in the future. bu One is pre-1900, but since this board is where I hang out the most, and since the three others timelines are post-1900, I thought I should post this here.

1789 timeline
General George Washington declares that he has no interest in politics and instead wishes to retire to a quiet life in Virginia. Come the election, the electors cast their votes for Ambassador John Adams for President, and some Southern guy whose name I can't remember (he was the Governor of SC during the revolution if that helps) as Vice-President. This of course, affects all of histr'y. I doubt I'm qualified to write it, but I'd like to give it a try.

The death of Senator Kennedy
On October 21st, 1954, Senator John F. Kennedy of Massachusetts dies during a "cure or kill" surgery. This, of course, affects the future of the Kennedys and the future of the country. It'll concentrate mostly on the events immediately following his death up to the 1960 election, then probably become less detailed and more mainly focused on Massachusetts and the development of the Kennedys.

Nixon chooses Hatfield
In 1968, former VIce-President Nixon had many people on his short list including House Minority Leader Gerald R. Ford, Massachusetts Governor John Volpe, Illinois Senator Charles Percy, Congressman George Bush of Texas, Governor Spiro T. Agnew of Maryland, and newly elected Oregon Senator Mark Hatfield. In this, he chooses Senator Hatfield for Vice-President. As of now, I'm not sure if Hatfield will even stay on for Nixon's second term, possibly opting out and choosing to run for his old Senate seat.
