New Sweden's Revenge

A very interesting timeline. I suppose Sweden will focus a bit more on the navy and have some more funds available for the Great Northern War with a profitable colony in America.

Interesting! A TL in which the Swedes aren't shunted to the far north but get the Ohio Valley! Which actually makes sense if they keep OTL Pennsylvania. (Svensylvania?:p I can't help it!
I wonder where William Penn will be granted his territory ITTL. St. Johns NB OTTL?
And where the Scots-Irish will settle from. Georgia?

I was wondering about what do with William Penn and all those who settled in Pennsylvania. I had figured to move the Scots-Irish down the coast to Georgia, but what to do with Penn?

Saint John is a good suggestion, but the British didn't conquer Acadia till 1710, and take what is now New Brunswick until 1755. Which is a bit late for Penn - maybe he could get what is now Nova Scotia in 1710 - but he probably would have got distracted by something else in the 30 years between when he founded OTL Pennsylvania and this opportunity. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Actually, I think the colony gets neglected during the war. Some of the money goes home, but the population is still pretty small. The excitement comes after the loss of the Great Northern War when Sweden stripped of much of its Baltic Empire, begins to turn its attention and energies across the Atlantic...
