A selection of (very) short stories in New Scientist on the subject of 'Futures that never happened'. So basically AH, although a lot of ASB-type stuff too. But I liked it, and so here it is...
All ASB, really. Pretty fun: some of these would make for good ASB scenarios.
And I'd call it "alternate physics/biology AH" rather than "Futures that never happened": for something to be a future that didn't happen it would have to be _seen_ as a future by at least a few people (I'd count only three of them as fitting that category).
