The whitewashing of Bose by Indian nationalists is one of the most shameful things in India's national history. The result would be pretty much what Amit said with two caveats- first of all, no power on earth can make Indian trains run on time
Secondly, you might well see civil war. The socialists in places like Bengal and Kerala aren't going to accept Bose. Gandhi would probably have taken a stand against him, thereby swaying vast amounts of support away from him. Much like the Spanish Civil War, you'd get an Indian Civil War between the Socialists and Social Democrats and Bose's Fascists.
