OK, so in case you don't know who he is, Airey Neave was an MP from Abingdon with the Conservative Party. In 1979, he was killed by a car bomb, allegedly by the Irish National Liberation Army due to his fanatic pro-Unionist stance. What would have happened had he survived?

OK, so in case you don't know who he is, Airey Neave was an MP from Abingdon with the Conservative Party. In 1979, he was killed by a car bomb, allegedly by the Irish National Liberation Army due to his fanatic pro-Unionist stance. What would have happened had he survived?

Hopefully another few books to go with They have their exits, about being the first successful British escaper from Colditz. On the political side of things, not an awful lot. As far as I know he wasn't prominent in the party to the point of challenging for the leadership or significantly influencing policy.
