NBA WI: Jordan retired for good in '95

What if after his baseball stint, and a brief return to the NBA in the latter part of the 94-95 season, Jordan decided to retire for good instead of going back to win 3 more titles?

How will this affect the league? And which team(s) will fill the void left by the Bulls? What are the chances of Chicago winning another title with Pippen as the top star? Can this also affect Phil Jackson's coaching career?

If this happens, the biggest benefactors would have been the Orlando Magic. I can see them winning the title in 96, which would have led to Shaq staying, and would have led to more titles.

Also, the Knicks may have been contenders if they are the ones who trade for Rodman in lieu of the Bulls (for example, sending Oakley and PG Charlie Ward for Rodman).

The Knicks made the Finals with a depleted lineup, so they'll definitely win a title with a healthy Ewing.

If Rodman goes to New York, he might be the one to start that infamous brawl with Miami. :p

Honestly, with Dennis Rodman and Scottie Pippen, etc. I still think the Chicago Bulls would have won 1 if not more championships. Wouldn't have been as dominant of course as with Jordan, in fact wouldn't have won all 3 championships in a row that they did when Michael Jordan came out of retirement. But I still think that team has enough talent to win 1 or 2 championships.
