Nazis weren't anti-semitic

Hitlers view on Jews could have been completely different, if his application for the artist school in Vienna hadn't been turned down. According to to article I read once, this rejection was the intial couse of Hitlers hatred of the Jews.

So hadn't this happened. Chances are Hitler wouldn't have been an anti-semit. A history would have been different in some aspects.
 
There were all sorts of wild conspiracy theories about Jewish betrayl and Jewish control of the world economy flying around though. Plus there was a long history of scapegoating Jews for any social or economic problem that occured.
