When the Nazis conquered France, they were able to transfer French Indochina to the Japanese. Is there anyway they could've done the same with the Dutch East Indies, or were too many of the Dutch officials in Indonesia loyal only to the Dutch government in exile and the Allies?

If the Nazis had somehow been able to transfer the Dutch East Indies to the Japanese, can the Japanese simply supply the "Japanese East Indies" through "Japanese Indochina" while avoiding the need to go to war with the US over the Philippines (at least in the immediate timeframe)?

How would a Japanese East Indies affect the Japanese attacks on the British colonies in South East Asia and possibly the US territories as well if it still decides to go ahead with Pearl Harbor? Would it also attack Australia in late 1941?
