Nazis never come to power, now what?

What happens if either hitler is recognized as an artist or simply doesn't start the nazi party the Nazis never take control of germany what will happen?

tiny correction Hitler didn't start the party he was its' last leader.

this isn't my strong point but maybe the Communists come to power, I'm honestly not sure.

I'd say without Hitler or another similar figure Germany would, before long, completely collapse into civil war between liberals, communists, far-rights, and religious powers. You'd probably then see the French, who really hated the Germans at this point, get involved in some way in favor of a power that favored them and you'd see the development of a power bloc system in Europe. Since this would probably forms sometime in the 30's you'd have the fascists in Spain and Italy, you'd have France and Germany, you'd have the Soviets, and you'd have the UK and others. A cold war would probably develop at this point with eastern Europe as the tipping point and then things would start to get interesting :D

Very unlikely unless several butterflies align. The Army is totally going to stage a coup to stop it, and the Commies don't have the resources to resist it. If Adolf and his personal racist obsessions and megalomania are butterflied out, but nothing else changes about Versailles and the Great Depression, most likely the TL gets a sane, non-genocidal right-wing conservative-authoritarian or vanilla fascist regime. It proceeds to ensure rearmament and recovery of Austria, Sudetenland, Danzig, the Corridor, ans Upper Silesia in a rather more somber way that Britain and France find quite livable, then it settles into satisfied great power mode. Final result: no WWII or Stalin gets paranoid/overconfident, goes on rampage mode, and we get an anti-Soviet WWII (and Japan has roughly equal chances of backstabbing Russia or the Allies, determining a wholly different fate for itself and America's neutrality or belligerance).

That certainly make a lot more sense then what I said but then again I know very little on the subject, thanks for enlightening me though:).
