Nazi v US Cold War: Larger strategic focus towards a conventional WW3?

What was TTL’s WW2 called? It wasn’t a actual World War so what is it called? The European Great War and the Pacific Great War?
Doesn’t the US have a greater motive to create simple rifles and anti vehicle weapons than the Chinese? They’ll be the ones funneling the arms with the CIA. Wouldn’t the Chinese be more like Czechoslovakia to America rather than the main source of weapons?

Plenty of American tanks went into Red army service during WW2, got the red star on them and everything. M3 Lee's, M4 Shermans. You name it. If they didn't mind in WW2, do yuo think they'd mind in WW3?
Still, it would be funny to see an Patton tank or an M1 Abrams, tanks that were specifically made to fight the Soviets, being used by them.
