Nazi-Soviet invasion of Poland

So everyone know how WWII started: Germany invades Poland, France and Britain declare war. But less than three weeks after the Germans, the Red Army invaded Poland, and they got away scott free. What if Stalin slipped up in such a way that the Western Allies declared war on Russia too? The Western Allies planned to intervene in Finland and bomb Baku, despite already being already being at war with the Nazis, so clearly there was no lost love for the U.S.S.R. There are limited fronts where the Western Allies and SU to come to blows, probably just Scandanavia and the Middle East. How would the conflict play out ultimately? Barbarossa is still a near certainty, but is the Red Army more or less battle ready? When/If the USA gets involved, will they be willing to grind into Russia and topple Stalin?

The Soviets, though having a powerful army had no way of attacking the allies in 1939 or 1940. In fact i don't even think they had a decent enough airforce to be bombing allied positions(closest being Iraq and Syria).

However it could be that if the Allies declare war on the Soviet Union they would attack Iran and Afghanistan too get into the middle-East and India

Eventually Hitler is going to attack the Soviets as well though right after defeating France. Then no way the Soviets could do a damn thing about the allies. Might attack japan though.

Once USA is gonna get involved its all over. The Soviets will agree on a "mutual enemy" agreement. No mor fighting between Soviets and Allies. Cold war would be a lot hotter though.

The Soviets and Britain seized Iranian territory in a joint action after the beginning of Barbarossa, so it seems like that would be a logical theater of action. The Soviets have a larger force to bring to bear, but they are likely weak and/or disorganized. However, the Allies aren't going to be able to commit a large number of troops themselves, so the Soviets might win by sheer weight of number. Are the Soviets going to learn many lessons in fighting a modern war against the French and British in Iran?

The most interesting thing to me would be seeing how vulnerable the SU would be to a campaign aimed at the hearts and minds of the ethnic minorities. Non-starter with the Nazis, but the Allies might be able to pull it off. Could be the whole thing could fall apart.

That only happened so they could open routes for supplies too the Soviet Union. If they are at war, they won't be doing that. The Iranians would side with the Allies i'm sure. Its likely the SU would attack Iran and Iraq for the oil, the Iranians will quickly surrender. An invasion of Iran would be devastating for the country. But i think from India British forces will arrive soon enough. Makes January 1942 more interesting with the Japanese invading Burma.
