Nazi Mega Weapons

I've been watching the PBS show on Nazi Mega Weapons.

My question.

If Hitler had been a little bit less bat shit crazy and did not fixate so much on Wonder Weapons to save his ass,

how much difference could those resources have made to the war effort?

We wouldn't get so many threads boasting about how the Me-262/STG-44/etc would win the war if there were more of them.

I don't see the concrete production being very important.

But there was a lot of steel reinforcements, and certainly a lot of manpower.

Resource Management

I did not see the show, so if I may ask, what were the "mega" weapons?

Other than that, Germany simply was lacking in resources to fight the kind of war in which they found themselves. The saying goes, "Amateurs study tactics, professionals study logistics."

The question is not so much about the weapons themselves, but more about leadership, as Hitler was not particulary bright in military education, though in command most of the critical years, not leaving command to more skilled commanders.

Until they run out of fuel...
More steel and other resources for synthetic oil.

I doubt anyone could say Hitler was that rational or professional in terms of production planning. But then the war was a struggle for resources, the have nots attacked the haves to get access to those resources.

For starters we wouldn't have this fun game:

Applesieg? Ghost in the Heil?

... I'll be leaving

Serious note, though:

What if the rest of the Nazi leadership hatches a cunning plan
to gently steer Hitler away from expensive comic-book fantasy
Wunderwaffen, by making them actual comic book fantasies.
Surely then the Fuhrer wouldn't want to spend money on them,
for fear of looking ridiculous.

Goebbels can book the artists and arrange for the printing and
distribution. They can justify it as propoganda to make young
Germans interested in science and military services. Big bright
4-color comics full of rockets and jets and zeppelins. Flying tanks
and Atom-Bombs. And giant robots. Stomping Moscow, London,
and New York into submission.

Okay so Hitler, who squandered an awful of his personal war effort watching movies, now wastes even more time on becoming a comic book nerd. Thus leaving the over centralised Fuhrer state spinning its wheels like a deranged hamster on crack?

As a plan to bring down NS Germany even sooner I like it :D
